AUTONOMOUS MOBILE ROBOTS - AMR
The main advantages of autonomous mobile robots are the reduction of human errors, increased agility of production processes and safety in the workplace.
What tasks can our AMR perform?
-
Assemble: Moving products through the production process
-
Kitting: Picking up parts for assembly
-
Transport: Loading of materials, pallets and loose parts
-
Staging: Delivering pallets for production processes
-
Warehousing: Transfer of products from the production line to the storage area
-
Order picking: Transfer of ordered products to loading/trailer areas for distribution
-
Delivery of goods: Transfer of packages and supplies to the point of consumption
-
Transfer / Shuttle: Transfer of loads
-
Inspection: outdoor patrolling and surveillance
Our autonomous mobile robots - AMR are collaborative and useful for different applications within Industry 4.0, both in indoor and outdoor environments. Within Robotnik's AMR portfolio, you can distinguish between platforms and autonomous mobile manipulators with different load, autonomy or speed capabilities.

AMR Material Handling
Autonomous Mobile Handling Robot in a lighting factory
A company is in need of an autonomous mobile robot that can efficiently handle materials with a robotic arm while benefiting from the features of an AMR vehicle, allowing it to navigate between various locations.
Given the large size of the manufacturing plant and the warehouse being situated at a distance from the production line, there is a need to streamline material transportation to prevent operators from wasting time on constant back and forth trips.
To address this issue, the RB-KAIROS+ mobile manipulator has been integrated into their operations.
Whether it's heavy loads or small parts and components, the RB-KAIROS+ proves to be the perfect solution, offering the required mobility and the capability to handle small parts by incorporating an end tool into the robotic arm.
AMR for Surveillance
Autonomous Mobile Robot in a security company
Innovative autonomous mobile robotics technology revolutionizes traditional surveillance methods in the private security industry, enhancing operational efficiency while slashing costs. In this case study a leading security company deploys the RB-WATCHER, the AMR for surveillance, in a distribution center of a logistics company. The RB-WATCHER is tasked with a comprehensive suite of surveillance activities to bolster the security measures of the facility:
- Autonomous patrolling of the predefined area following a planned schedule
- Real-time monitoring of cameras and sensors
- Remote operation
- Fire detection
- Real-time alarm transmission
- Subsequent collection and analysis of collected data
- Real-time incident communication
AMR for manufacturing
Autonomous mobile robotics streamlines production line feeding
Due to the complex logistics of this connectivity systems manufacturer, along with the implementation of just-in-time manufacturing methodologies, operators frequently face shortages of necessary components. This results in the need to retrieve materials from the warehouse, consuming a significant amount of time and energy. Such tasks can be unproductive and monotonous for employees.
The warehouse is about 200 meters from production and each time an operator goes to collect the missing items, it takes around 7 minutes, leading to numerous hours lost annually.
The suggested robot, RB-VOGUI, has a 150 kg load capacity and features omnidirectional movement, enabling it to maneuver effectively in confined spaces. RB-VOGUI is an Autonomous Mobile Robot specifically designed to carry out logistics tasks both indoors and primarily outdoors.
